Virtual Horseracing
Just like real Horseracing, you can place bets on Virtual Racing at Mr Green.
Out of all the Virtual Horse Racing platforms that I have experienced, the one at Mr green is the best. Everything is clearly laid out, with nice large icons showing the horses colours and number, and unlike most other offerings you can instantly see the previous form of the horse, the name of the jockey and the odds for the horse.
Even better, there is an “info” button next to each horse. Pressing this opens up a lovely little window which has more details on the horse. These include the trainer name, age of the horse, a summary of its last twenty runs and even a beautifully rendered image. its a really nice details and makes the betting aspect even more realistic.
Placing a Bet
This is the easiest interface I’ve ever used. You can bet on Win, Place, Forecast or Tricast straight from the main screen just by clicking on the icon, selecting your horse or horses, entering your stake and submitting it. It couldn’t be easier.
The only thing that I found unusual was that there didn’t seem to be the option to do reverse Forecasts or Tricasts but bearing in mind that most other brands only allow you to bet on the Winner, Mr Green already has way more options available to you.
Types of Bet
So, as we’ve read the range of betting options is superior to most, with easy to navigate buttons, form and betting slips. The odds are initially offered as decimals, but for old-skoolers like me, you can change them to fractional by clicking up the top of the page.
Betting on a single race allows you to bet on the following – Win, Place, Forecast and Tricast.
However, you can also bet on multiple races. This will open up even more betting options for you.
These additional options include Doubles, Trebles, Lucky 15s and many more. Excellent stuff.
And if you think that the betting part is really good, just wait until you see the Race Action. Its amazing. The graphics, are stunning, with little details like the furrows in the course, the shadows and even the clouds all making this the most realistic experience I’ve had with a Virtual Horse Race.
At the bottom of the screen is a ticker that shows where each horse is in the race, and also how far it is to the finish line.
If you’re feeling especially saucy you can even combine different sports – fancy Dog #1 winning the 3.15, Stuart Small to win the cycling and Belgium to draw against England in the Virtual Football? Go ahead and place the bet. Mr Green will even let you place a Trixie on it (three doubles and a treble).
Bottom line is that Mr Green is easily the best place to bet on Virtual Sports. The bet navigation is clear and easy, the graphics are exceptional and I spent way longer here than I should have for the review purely because its just so good!
